Museum of Ventura County to host "It's a Bride Thing" Bridal Soiree

SoulMates Bridal Connection is creating another fun and fabulous, yet intimate and interactive "It's a Bride Thing" Bridal Soiree Fashion Show! Scheduled for Thursday, December 2, 2010, from 6:00-8:30pm in the Museum of Ventura County's new river-rock walled, state-of-the-art Martin V. and Martha K. Smith Event Pavilion.

The evenings festivities include a Rockin' Preview of 2011's Hottest Trends in WEDDING, EVENT and ENTERTAINING. Engaged Couples, Soon-To-Be Engaged Couples, Bridal Entourages, and Hostesses with the Mostesses will not want to miss this opportunity to rub elbows with some of Ventura County's most elite vendors in the event industry.

Kicking off the soiree will be live guitarist Mark Cross, enjoy tasty nibbles provided by local caterers, mix and mingle with preferred wedding vendors, gain ideas and inspiration, and watch a hip fashion show provided by Camarillo Bridal. Other highlights include; makeup trials, cake sampling and GIVEAWAYS galore! We'll end the nights festivities with Ventura County's favorite cover band Inna Rude Mood Rockin' It reception style in the newly renovated red barn. SoulMates Bridal Connection is hosting our, "It's a Bride Thing" Bridal Soiree and Fashion Show at the Heritage Square in Downtown Oxnard. This is the second show of the year and themed as Save on Your Venue, Splurge on Your Vendors! All engaged couples and their families are invited to join us for this intimate affair on Thursday, June 3rd from 6pm-8:30pm. There you can mix and mingle with Ventura County's preferred wedding vendors, as well as with other brides-to-be. Gain ideas and inspiration from the experts, as you listen to live music by Craig Saxon, enjoy a fashion show by Camarillo Bridal, food by La Dolce Vita, wine tasting by Rancho Ventavo Wine Cellars, cake tastings, vintage cars, makeup trials, and much more!

Megan and I are the types of business women that will never stay complacent. If we aren't satisfied with something within our business...then we regroup and figure out what changes can be made to improve the experience of our brides, vendors and ourselves.

With that said, after 5 years in the retail business, we have decided to CLOSE the 'RETAIL' part of SoulMates and leave our storefront location. Which means...we will no longer carry any bridal accessories and will be moving into an office suite. This huge change will allow us to focus on the growing aspects of our business, our wedding vendor Networking Group. By building our networking group, it will allow us to expand our complementary on-site Information Resource, and will free up our time, so we can Consult with brides-to-be, without interruptions.

Our new office suite is still conveniently located in Old Town Camarillo at 2360 Ventura Blvd. Suite 'C', which is perfectly situated behind a Bridal Dress Shop. We are primarily Open by Appointment Only. So if you are a bride, we encourage you to contact us to schedule your Complementary 1 Hour Consultation with SoulMates. SoulMates Bridal Boutique & Souly Wedding Vendors Networking Group are pleased to announce our first of 2010, "It's a Bride Thing" Bridal Soiree and Fashion Show at the Crowne Plaza in Ventura! All engaged couples and their families are invited to join us for this intimate affair on Thursday, February 25th from 6pm-8:30pm. There you can mix and mingle with Ventura County's preferred wedding vendors, as well as with other brides-to-be. Gain ideas and inspiration from the experts as you enjoy a fashion show, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, makeup trials, cake sampling, music and much...much more!

We're also having a "VOW to Give Back" Silent Auction Fundraiser to raise money for the Barnett Family. Renee Barnett is the MC of the fashion show and the Manager of Camarillo Bridal. Her family was left devastated when her husband Don was diagnosed with Squamous Malignant Carcinoma in late January of this year. In a short period of time the news has added financial strains to this family of four. So, in honor of a woman who has done so much for us, as well as for many others...and various brides-to-be through the years, we are holding a Silent Auction. This is a wonderful opportunity to "VOW to Give Back." Brides-to-be and all in attendance will have the chance to bid on amazing items/services donated to Silent Auction by our expert wedding professionals and friends and family of the Barnett Family. Stay tuned for a sneak peak of some of the Silent Auction items/services that will be available to bid on February 25th!
